Ardnamurchan Madeira Cask Release 700ml
Ardnamurchan Distillery is a Western Highlands single malt Scotch distillery in the small village of Glenbeg on the peninsula from which it takes its name. It was founded in 2014 by the independent bottler Adelphi Selection, largely as a response to the scarcity on the market of aged casks of whisky from other distilleries. The 2025 edition is a combination of peated and unpeated malt, aged in bourbon barrels and re-racked into Maderia wine casks. This is a robust and textural dram that shows layers of cacao, candied cherry, fruit cake, toffee apples, fresh rosemary and orange marmalade.
