The Brut Nature is the same blend as the regular Brut Réserve: 40% Meunier, 30% Chardonnay, and 30% Pinot Noir. It benefits from at least 50% reserve wines and is kept for a minimum of 4 years on the lees, more than a year longer than the Réserve. This extra lees contact is a must for zero dosage Champagnes like this—if you don’t add sugar, you must add time, or the wine will be harsh. This no-sugar-added Champagne is in a true brut-nature style, and is very, very dry and bright.
