Last winter, Aston Martin and Bowmore officially announced they would be partnering for some upcoming surprises. And the first thing the iconic brands are ready to reveal is this exclusive whisky. The release dips into the diminishing stock of Black Bowmore, first distilled in 1964, it's become one of the most sought-after single-malts on earth. That same era is important to Aston Martin as well, as 1963 marked the launch of the famous Bond-preferred Aston Martin DB5. Only 25 bottles of Black Bowmore DB5 are being released, and each one is handcrafted by a bespoke glass studio from Scotland, taking up to a week to complete. The bottles are housed in a handmade presentation box inspired by the distillery's coastal home with deep blue color along with a custom solid brass latch and hinges, plated with nickel.
