The Story
This wonderful vin de pays produced from grapes grown in the Châteauâs vineyards does not benefit from the CĂ´tes du LubĂŠron appellation.  Viognier is not considered a traditional grape in this region.  However, this wine is a huge crowd pleaser, year in and year out.  More high-toned than itâs more famous cousin in the northern RhĂ´ne valley, the texture is always bright and crisp with good weight and length, but never heavy.  The telltale aromatics of this grape are present with notes of apricot, ripe citrus and some minerals.  Very refreshing!
