Egly Ouriet Les Premices Extra Brut Champagne
This Brut 1er Cru "Les prémices" cuvée from EGLY-OURIET was created in 2020. It is produced from the blend of equal parts of the three Champagne grape varieties: Pinot meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. It is the perfect cuvée to discover this beautiful House. A great introduction!
All the champagnes from this house are vinified in oak barrels, without malolactic fermentation, and this cuvée is no exception. It is weakly dosed (2gr/l) and offers us a nose that is both mineral and floral. We find this minerality in the mouth with a good length. This champagne, full of elegance and freshness, pairs perfectly with a carpaccio of Saint-Jacques.
Pale lemon. Aromas of white flowers and marzipan, white peaches, and light herbs. Bright and precise, with peppery notes and citrus zest. Savory, with a mineral finish; long.
