Arcuri’s Cirò Riserva — mid-ruby red in color — offers hypnotic aromas of ripe, red berry fruits mixed with notes of citrus peel and ferrous earth. This 100% Gaglioppo showcases rich flavors of black cherry, blackberries and strawberries complemented with hints of herbs, espresso and coppery minerality. Vibrant acidity and refined tannins support the mouthwatering palate as it coasts towards its warm, lengthy finish.
Produced with Gaglioppo grapes coming from old vineyards with an average age of about 50 years. Fermentation occurs spontaneously thanks to indigenous yeasts; The maceration takes place in an open, four-day concrete tank. Continue refining in cement containers for 18 months.
